Michael McShae

Michael McShae was born Michael Robert Sienicki on June 19, 1991 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Shortly after Michael's first birthday, he and his family relocated to Rapid City, South Dakota at the edge of the famous Black Hills. When Mike had completed second grade, the family relocated back to Arizona, this time to the scenic small town of Sedona. There, Mike attended public school until he was discovered at a ProScout talent scouting convention in Phoenix following Mike's seventh grade school year.

An accomplished athlete and basketball player (Camp All-Star, Lute Olson Basketball Camp, University of Arizona - 2003), Michael was new to the acting world. Though Mike had never had any formal acting training or experience, both Chambers Stevens (the acting coach who discovered Mike) and Scott Wine (Partner at The Osbrink Agency, Mike's agent) felt Michael had plenty of personality and natural talent to go with his leading-man looks. Upon relocating to Los Angeles, Michael soon confirmed their beliefs.

Once settled in Los Angeles, Michael quickly impressed his acting coach with his focus and hard work - so much that Chambers called Michael the most dedicated actor of all the 3000+ kids he had ever coached. Signed by both veteran and influential child actor manager, Myrna Lieberman, and his new talent agent, The Osbrink Agency, Mike consistently landed callbacks for virtually all of his auditions.

In a fiercely competitive industry where hundreds - if not thousands - of talented kids vie for every acting and modeling opportunity, Michael adopted the professional last name of "McShae" (derived from one of his family ancestors, "Mhic Sheaghd" - Gaelic for "Clan Shaw") and rapidly became a regular, working actor and model. His appeal has been so universal, he has landed numerous jobs in television, films, commercials, as well as in modeling. In fact, due to his progress in such a brief time span, Michael was asked by the president of ProScout, Brian Marcus, to be a special guest speaker at one of their regional talent showcases.

Today, Michael continues his quest to become a successful actor and screenwriter/ filmmaker while also working diligently to become an accomplished musician (guitar). Practicing 2-4 hours each day around his already hectic schedule of acting and school work, Mike has achieved considerable talent. Guided by such diverse musical influences as Our Lady Peace, eve6, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Frank Sinatra, and jazz guitarist Pat Metheny, Michael is presently writing and recording music.
