Despite the normal seasonal slowdown in Hollywood, Michael has been very busy with auditions and callbacks for both films and guest-starring roles on existing television shows.

Yesterday, Mike attended a Pilot Season Workshop given by Joey Paul in preparation for the upcoming pilot season beginning in January.

Today, Michael went to a read through (practice) for the lead role in a student film he has that will be shooting in the near future. Immediately following, Mike and his mother jumped into the car and drove to Arizona to visit his brother A.J., get his hair cut and styled by Raul (in Camp Verde, AZ) as well as pick up his snowboard and their winter clothes for their upcoming trip out to visit me in Delaware over the Christmas holidays. All of us seem to always be on the go!

Finally, photos of Mike modeling M&M apparel are now available on the M&M World Store website! Check them out! (click on the following links)

What a whirlwind couple of months!

First, Mike and his mother joined me (his dad) for a brief (!!!) vacation in the beautiful hills of southern Indiana during the middle of October. There, the family enjoyed the annual Parke County Covered Bridge Festival (the largest collection of covered bridges in the US), attended the homecoming football game at Purdue University (my alma mater), visited James Dean's birthplace and grave in Fairmount, as well as toured the Indianapolis Motor Speedway - home of the Indianapolis 500 Indy car race! In addition, we rented a log cabin and enjoyed the beautiful fall foliage colors of picturesque Brown County and the quaint artist colony of Nashville, Indiana.

Once Mike returned to LA, he was chosen to model for a J.C. Penney's in-store display ad - in swimwear (!!!) - presumably for an upcoming spring store sale...

Just a couple of days later, Mike landed a national Kellogg's commercial for Eggo waffles! And since this was Mike's third union job, he has now qualified for and is required to join the prestigious Screen Actors Guild - a very important milestone in the career of all professional actors!

Congratulations, Mike!!!

Finally, to top it all off, Mike was a featured Special Guest Speaker at the ProScout Invitational regional talent scouting event held at the Orange County Hyatt Regency just a few blocks from Disneyland! He was interviewed on stage by Brian Marcus, the president of ProScout, in front of an audience of hundreds of prospective actors and models from all over the Southwestern US! They discussed Mike's brief career and how fast he has advanced in such a short time. If Mike had any stage fright, he certainly did not show it as he looked very comfortable in front of so many people. He left the stage to very enthusiastic applause from the young audience...

Good job, Mike!

And now, after all that, he is back to rolling up his sleeves and getting back to schoolwork!
